Menomenopiu’s competition proposal for the Daegu Gosan Public Library in the Republic of Korea was selected and further developed to eventually a design development level of execution; inclusive of technical drawings such as detailed wall sections and plans. The studio focuses on technical drawings and the significance of urban context to a structure. The concrete and steel structure is characterized by a cantilevered corner and emphasizes the need to keep public buildings public spaces. Large scale models were built at the end of the semester.
